Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2, Dublin, Dublin | | | “Vivre ensemble, différents” is the motto of this year’s celebration of the “journée internationale de la francophonie”. For this occasion, a free screening of a selection of short fiction films, subtitled in English, from the member nations of the OIF (Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie) represented in Dublin, will be held at the Sugar Club, on Tuesday 20th March 2007 at 6.30pm (doors open at 6pm).
This celebration of cultural diversity and multi-lingualism is the perfect occasion for all communities to unite and interact.
All are welcome!

National Sculpture Factory, Cork, Cork | | | The National Sculpture Factory in association with Cork Artists Collective have commissioned Japanese artist Kenji Endo to install his site-specific sculpture Replicant along the side of the red-brick NSF building where Albert Road meets the South Link. Replicant is made from aluminium duct piping and LED lights and will sprawl, virus-like along the western face and front of the factory building, emitting a low lit, blue glow. |
